NWA Defeats Claims Alleging in Excess of $250 Million in Damages Against Solana Labs

On behalf of Solana Labs, NWA defeated claims alleging in excess of $250 million in damages for the purported breach of a Simple Agreement for Future Tokens (a/k/a SAFT). The plaintiff had alleged the SAFT entitled it to Solana tokens, which Labs denied, including because (as the evidence reflected) the parties had agreed to terminate the SAFT. Earlier this month, after three years of litigation in California Superior Court in San Francisco, plaintiff abandoned the case and voluntarily its dismissed claims.
