

Overview
Fernando Paredes is an experienced attorney with over a decade of practice focused on discovery and litigation support in high-stakes disputes, regulatory investigations, and arbitrations. He has worked on both plaintiff and defense matters, advising litigation teams on privilege reviews, responsiveness analysis, and defensible workflows across multilingual document reviews. His experience spans complex matters including securities litigation, FCPA investigations, cryptocurrency fraud, and other commercial disputes.
He has led attorney teams on large-scale reviews and brings deep experience with industry-standard e-discovery tools, including Relativity. He also holds certification as a Certified E-Discovery Specialist (ACEDS).
Fernando earned his B.A. in Philosophy from Bowdoin College, and then graduated cum laude from Suffolk Law School, where he was recognized as a Distinguished Oral Advocate. He joins NWA following five years at Debevoise & Plimpton, where he was Senior Discovery Attorney. He is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese, German, and French.
