Overview

Fabiana Cambraia Hilgenfeldt is a staff attorney with over a decade of experience handling complex securities litigation, regulatory investigations, and cross-border disputes. She has extensive experience in conducting e-discovery, internal investigations, and document analysis for high-profile matters involving international companies and governmental agencies.

Fabiana has represented clients from case inception through trial or mediation in landmark securities class actions, including a historic $2.9 billion settlement against a Brazilian oil company. Her experience spans diverse industries, from renewable energy and mining to healthcare and financial services.

Fabiana holds an LL.M. in Corporate Law from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Juris Doctor, with honors, from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in Brazil. She also completed a coursework in French Civil Law at the University of Paris II – Panthéon-Assas.

Fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and proficient in French and Italian, Fabiana brings a unique multilingual and multicultural perspective to our practice. She is admitted to the New York State Bar and the Brazilian Bar Association.

Prior to joining NWA, Fabiana was a senior staff attorney at Kaplan Fox & Kilsheimer.
